Senior Data Scientist , to drive advertiser media strategy and performance through advanced statistical modeling and machine learning techniques.
What you'll do...
Build predictive models, derive media insights, and define statistically sound solutions including but not limited to
lift analysis ,
experiment design ,
incrementality testing ,
marketing mix models ,
multi-touch attribution ,
uplift targeting , automated optimization strategies, and advertiser-facing recommendations.
Perform hands-on coding to retrieve and analyze large datasets using SQL, Python, VBA, and/or R.
Integrate disparate data sources and leverage state-of-the-art analytics best practices to deliver integrated actionable insights to partners and stakeholders.
Contribute to building measurement/analytics tools and platforms that reflect the best and most appropriate solutions available.
Manage and streamline data extraction processes with great attention to detail.
Assess the potential usefulness, validity, and rigor of new data sources.
Work with cross-functional teams to ensure that the quality of the data is of the highest standard.
Minimum Qualifications
Master’s degree in statistics/mathematics, engineering, computer science, economics, or related field.
4+ years of industry experience in a data, analytics, or data science role.
Experienced with display advertising measurement, including Synthetic Control Methodology, Ghost Ads, RCTs, and Experiment Design.
Experienced with Time Series Analysis, Bayesian Methods for Lift Studies.
Proficient coding skills (SQL/Python/R).
Deep knowledge of relational database capabilities.
Experience in integrating, structuring, and analyzing large amounts of data from diverse sources.
Strong project management skills and attention-to-detail documentation skills.
Experience with big data technologies (Spark, Hive/Hadoop) and modern data visualization tools (Tableau, ThoughtSpot, Looker, etc).
Strong written & verbal communication with the ability to communicate complex technical topics clearly.
A collaborative mindset and sense of curiosity.
Preferred Qualifications
PhD degree in statistics/mathematics, engineering, computer science, economics, or related field.
Experience with predictive modeling algorithms and optimization techniques.
Experience applying statistics to business problems.
Experience with advertising, measurement, and/or digital marketing analytics.
Experience with advertising technology platforms (Ad servers, DSPs, DMPs, etc.).
This is an in-office position. You can work in our San Bruno, CA or Hoboken, NJ offices.
