The Department of Energy's (DOE) Office of Inspector General is currently looking for an Auditor in the Office of Cyber Assessments and Data Analytics in a location to be determined. Join our professional team of auditors, inspectors, criminal investigators, and inspectors who help support DOE's mission through performance and financial audits, inspections of management issues and administrative allegations, and investigations into alleged violations of law.

Duties:

Requirements:Must be a U.S. Citizen or National.This employer participates in the e-Verify program.Males born after 12/31/1959 must be registered for Selective Service.Suitable for Federal employment, as determined by a background investigation.May be required to submit a Financial Disclosure Statement, OGE-450 or an Executive Branch Personnel Confidential Financial Disclosure Report upon entering the position and annually (5CFR Part 2634, Subpart I USOGE, 6/08).Must be in good academic standing.A Pathways Recent Graduate Participant Agreement is required.A 1-year trial period is required.This position requires a Critical Sensitive Q (Top Secret) Clearance. The incumbent must obtain and maintain a Q Security Clearance.This position is a drug testing designated position and is subject to pre-employment and random drug testing.Will be required to participate in the Direct Deposit Electronics Funds Transfer Program.Qualifications:Eligibility Requirements:In order to be eligible for an appointment under the Pathways Recent Graduate Program you must meet the following requirements:You must be a recent graduate who has completed, within the previous two years, an associates, bachelors, masters, professional, doctorate, vocational or technical degree or certificate from a qualifying educational institution.Qualification Requirements:

Credit will be given for all appropriate qualifying experience. For current Federal employees, if hours worked per week are not included on your resume, you must submit a

non-award SF-50 for each federal position listed

as part of your application to be used to validate your work schedule and determine the amount of qualifying experience that you will be granted.

An award SF-50 will not be acceptable documentation for which to consider your amount of qualifying experience.

BASIC REQUIREMENT:

In accordance with OPM's Individual Occupational Requirements for the GS-0511 series, applicants must meet the following basic requirement:A. Degree:

auditing; or a degree in a related field such as business administration, finance, public administration, or accounting-OR-B. Combination of education and experience:

at least 4 years of experience in Performance Auditing, or an equivalent combination of performance auditing experience, college-level education, and training that provided professional auditing knowledge.EXPERIENCE:

Grade Level is defined as:Conduct research on topics and communicate the results of the research either orally or in writing.Participate with others as part of a team to meet a common goal.-OR-EDUCATION:

Successful completion of at least one full year of graduate level education in a related field. You must include transcripts.-OR-Bachelor's degree

with

Superior Academic Achievement (SAA) in a related field.EXPERIENCE:
