As a VP of Finance, you’ll be responsible for a variety of tasks including but not limited to:

Effectively allocating financial resources in order to grow revenue to a $20M run rate by Q2 of 2025.

Financial Planning and Analysis:

Improve the accuracy and predictability of the financial plan. Maintain forecast reliability for subsequent quarters top and bottom line numbers to be within 10% of plan. Identify high leverage points within business and hold the team accountable to continuous improvement.

Accounting:

Ensure timely and accurate accounting of all business activities. Ensure timely and accurate vendor/client payments are made with 100% accuracy. Regularly update and maintain the chart of accounts to align with financial plans and management reporting preferences.

Management Reporting:

Provide weekly reporting updates to the management team. Create board deck materials on a quarterly basis. Participate in board meetings.

Continuous Improvement:

Drive Sales/Marketing/Ops continuous improvement through real-time reporting and cross-functional collaboration.

Our ideal candidate has:

Minimum: BA/BS in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or any other subject matter which demonstrates both the desire and ability to perform the job duties of this position.

MBA a plus but not required.

8+ years of proven experience in Finance leadership.

Ability to make decisions, create change and help grow a company.

Investment banking, private equity, and capital markets experience.

Plans, organizes, schedules, and budgets in an efficient, productive manner. Focuses on key priorities.

Able to structure and process qualitative or quantitative data and draw insightful conclusions from it. Exhibits a probing mind and achieves penetrating insights.

Does not let important details slip through the cracks or derail a project.

Maintains stable performance when under heavy pressure or stress.

Able to see and communicate the big picture in an inspiring way. Determines opportunities and threats through comprehensive analysis of current and future trends.

Speaks and writes clearly and articulately without being overly verbose or talkative. Maintains this standard in all forms of written communication, including e-mail.

Able to convince others to pursue a course of action.

Experience in Capital Markets a plus, but not required.
