TekSystems is currently hiring for a Medical Payment Poster/Cash Poster in the Rosedale (Baltimore County) area!MUST HAVE:
Any experience within payment posting, medical billing, cash posting, or something similar - even less than a year experience could be considered!Description:Fully accountable for posting all payments and adjustments in accordance to monthly deadlines for all lines of business.Post cash within twenty-four (24) hours of receipt.Reconcile batches posted to total deposits daily.Research unidentified payments using internal sources, written communication, or phone inquiries to determine appropriate accounts to apply payments against.Follow up on rejected or denied claims per remittance.Identify overpayments and notify collectors or accounts receivable representatives in order to immediately refund government payors and notify third party payors, Facilities, and Private Pay customers of overpayment.Copy or communicate documentation or information required to bill secondary payors to billing representatives or accounts receivable representatives.Process adjustments and write-offs as needed for accounts.Additional Skills & Qualifications:Must have at least 6+ months within payment posting/billing/AR or any part of the billing process.Must have at least a High School diploma.Must have at least basic Excel experience (they will be using DAILY); what they do in it can be taught, but the person needs to know their way around.Must have experience doing reconciliations (will be doing daily).Must be a critical thinker.Will consider someone with JUST an externship.About TEKsystems:We're partners in transformation.
