Needs Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related fieldsAt least 5 years experience working as automation engineer working in an agile SDLCAt least 5 years experience working with UI Selenium based automated testing frameworks preferably using JavaAt least 3 years experience working with API automated testing frameworks such as karate and experience with manual API testing using PostmanAt least 2 years experience working with database testingAt least 1 year experience working with CI/CD builds and deployments using tools such as GitLabAbility to organize your own work and operate independentlyDemonstrated problem solving and troubleshooting skillsResponsibilities

This position will report directly to a QA ManagerYou will help advance our automation testing and help the team grow their skillsYou will be asked to utilize your critical thinking daily and to implement and extend our automation framework while performing product testingWrite automated and robust UI selenium tests for our software productsMaintain test automation suites and test data sets to ensure they are providing useful and timely test resultsBe a proactive agile team member that can partner and build relationshipsRead and interpret logs to diagnose automation failuresWrite REST API automation tests for micro-servicesUnderstand and execute basic SQL and NoSQL queries related to the productCreate and execute performance tests for the productDevelop robust code that complies with coding standardsReview and refine requirements with product managers and create detailed test casesExecute manual test cases, document the results, and create detailed bug tickets when necessaryUnderstand end to end business processes of the productLeverage and extend the automation test framework to produce high quality testingAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and remain detail orientedWrite concise design documents/best practices to augment the automation codeImplement tests to run in parallel by understanding and removing dependencies across tests and test dataBe the champion of quality within your team, ensuring quality-focused approaches from both development and productBring forward new ideas and work with teams to transform those ideas into realityBenefits
