This position is located in White Plains, NY.What's the role?As a SAP S/4 HANA Transition & HyperCare Coordinator, you get to work with an astonishing team that plays a vital role in Carl Zeiss Inc. Showcase your skills and experience with process enhancement in orchestrating the transition from project phase to operational status within the SAP S/4 HANA environment. The role is responsible for managing the transition from legacy systems to the new SAP solutions whilst ensuring smooth post-implementation support during the HyperCare phase. This role encompasses planning and executing transition strategies, ensuring operational readiness, and providing support during the HyperCare phase to address post-go-live issues. The position will play a pivotal role in overseeing all transition activities, managing risks, and providing immediate support to address issues that arise after the SAP system goes live. The coordinator is a key liaison between project teams, IT, and operational departments, facilitating a smooth transfer of systems, processes, and knowledge while ensuring minimal disruption to business continuity. This strategic position requires a blend of project management skills, technical knowledge, and the ability to anticipate and mitigate transition-related challenges.Sound Interesting?Here's what you'll do:Enforce and refine methodologies and best practices outlined in the deployment handbook to ensure consistency and quality across all transition phases.Supervise the transition of systems, processes, and knowledge from the project team to the operational team, ensuring operational readiness and alignment for post-go-live activities.Collaborate with global and hub teams to ensure a smooth transfer of systems, processes and knowledge, providing support during post go live phases. Ensure that all relevant stakeholders are informed and engaged throughout the transition process.Ensure comprehensive documentation and alignment with the operational (run) organization to facilitate a smooth handover and continuous operation post-go-live.Oversee the creation and maintenance of detailed documentation for all systems and processes. Conduct regular reviews of documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.Lead the provision of hypercare support after local go-live to address any operational issues promptly, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations and providing immediate assistance and troubleshooting.Monitor system performance and user feedback during the hypercare period to identify and resolve issues swiftly.Implement continuous monitoring of system performance, gather user feedback, and manage the issue resolution process to maintain system integrity and functionality.Provide strategic and methodological guidance to the deployment team and IT Project Manager during the roll-in project, focusing on risk mitigation and seamless transitions.Collaborate with the IT PMO to identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies whilst offering expert advice for system deployment and transition.Do you qualify?Minimum of 5 years' experience.Proven experience in managing transitions to operations and hypercare.Strong project management skills, with a track record of successfully managing IT cross-functional teams.Knowledge of support and issue resolution processes.Nice to Haves:Experience in

complexity/specialization/scarcity

of talent.This position is also eligible for a performance bonus or sales commissions.
