Job Description

The Workday Financials Developer is a key member of our Financial Information Systems team, playing a pivotal role in developing, optimizing, and maintaining our Financial Systems to support our finance and accounting partners:

Duties will include:

Facilitate Workday implementation, release management, system configuration changes, conditional rules, and validations.Perform functional and technical testing of systems as modifications are made before introduction to the production environment.Build and maintain integrations between Workday and third parties as well as between Workday and our other internal financial applications.Work with IT and Finance teams to help provide end-user troubleshooting guidance, issue remediation, and escalation management.Monitor reoccurring issues, system/data or process gaps and proactively identify potential sources of increased efficiency and enhancements.Recommend and create custom reports utilizing the most efficient report type (Including but not limited to Advanced, Matrix, and Composite).Maintain data integrity of the financial system by analyzing data, audit controls and producing reports.Take an active role in fostering a culture of continuous improvement that delivers scalable and repeatable business processes to support the department.

QualificationsMust have experience in Accounting Finance or Information Technology and a strong understanding of finance and accounting principles, processes, and best practices.1+ years of Workday Financials experience with in-depth knowledge of Workday Financials configuration and functionality.Experience with Workday integrations including but not limited to: EIBs, RaaS Reports, SOAP/REST APIs.Experience with XSLT transformations.Experience with configurable Workday security groups; including role-based, user-based, segmented, and rule-based groups.Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.A highly analytical, organized, and detail-oriented professional who can work independently but who also functions as a team member.Effective organizational and interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communication skills with technical and non-technical constituents.Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and independently, meet deadlines and escalate appropriately to management.

Preferred QualificationsExperience with PRISM Analytics and Adaptive Planning.Experience with Workday Process Framework.Experience with Workday Extend.

Additional Information
