We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Business Analyst with 2-4 years of experience to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in evaluating business requirements for application development, process and change management, and software system enhancements or integration solutions. This role involves analyzing business and IT processes, defining system requirements, and ensuring successful implementation and support of those systems.Key Responsibilities:

Evaluate Business Requirements:

Analyze and document business requirements for new or modified software systems, ensuring alignment with business goals.Process and Change Management:

Participate in process and change management activities, including assessing the impact of changes on business operations and systems.System Requirements Definition:

Collaborate with stakeholders to define, document, and communicate system requirements for application development and integration projects.Testing and Implementation:

Develop test schedules, review test plans, and track and document test results to ensure the successful implementation of system enhancements.Industry Standard Analysis Techniques:

Utilize industry-standard analysis techniques, such as data flow modeling, use case and workflow analysis, functional decomposition analysis, data modeling, security awareness planning, and object modeling, to assess and optimize business processes.Support and Training:

Provide support during system implementation, including user training and post-implementation troubleshooting.Collaboration:

Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, project managers, and business stakeholders, to ensure the successful delivery of projects.Qualifications:

Experience: 2-4 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a related role.Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.Skills:

Proficiency in business and process analysis techniques.Experience with data flow modeling, use case and workflow analysis, and data modeling.Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and system integration concepts.Familiarity with security awareness planning and object modeling.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

Familiarity with various business process management tools and methodologies.Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and standards related to business analysis.Prior domain industry experience at a state or federal government agency is preferred.
