As the Technical Project Manager, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and tracking information technology projects through their full lifecycle. This role involves assessing customer requirements, identifying and implementing technology solutions, and managing resources and budgets to ensure successful project delivery.Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning and Coordination:

Conduct planning and coordination for IT projects, including full lifecycle management from inception to completion.Requirements Assessment:

Assess customer requirements and provide expert advice on suitable technology solutions that align with business needs.Resource Management:

Identify and allocate resources effectively, facilitating and directing multidisciplinary teams to achieve project goals.Schedule Development:

Develop and maintain project schedules using project management systems, ensuring timely delivery of project milestones.Risk Assessment:

Identify and assess risks associated with projects, and implement mitigation strategies to address potential issues.Progress Tracking:

Track project progress, develop dashboards to visualize project status, and coordinate resources to ensure project alignment with objectives.Vendor Management:

Manage tasks related to solution vendors and implementers, including estimating costs, managing project budgets, and ensuring vendor compliance.Reporting:

Provide regular reports on project progress, highlighting key achievements, challenges, and areas for improvement.Consultation and Analysis:

Provide analysis and consultation to support the development of infrastructure and integration issues, including security and recovery, in collaboration with county IT staff.Qualifications:

Experience:

2-4 years of experience as a Technical Project Manager or in a similar role.Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Project Management, or a related field.Skills:

Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Asana).Strong understanding of IT systems, infrastructure, and integration issues.Experience in assessing technology solutions and managing full project lifecycles.Ability to develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resources.Excellent communication, leadership, and team facilitation skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or other relevant project management certifications.Experience working with county or governmental IT infrastructure.Familiarity with security and recovery solutions.
