This position is primarily concerned with the day-to-day Commercial analytical activities and broader corporate business functions within the Commercial department. The Analyst II will take accountability for a variety of responsibilities supporting the five key teams that make up the Commercial department and perform functions across the Commercial supply chain. Duties are including but not limited to:Services planning for the integrated supply chain, including associated daily interaction with CustomersFundamentals analysisEnhancing customer experienceOperations analyticsVessel planning, coordination, and schedulingCommercial operationsEnergy scheduling and transactionsProcess documentation and improvementThis position is expected to grow in scope and responsibility commensurate with knowledge growth and ability to take higher-level responsibilities by the employee. This position requires daily interface with the company’s customer relations, commercial operations, planning and scheduling, front office, middle office, Marketing, Accounting, Finance and operational teams. Periodic interface with customers and other counterparties will also be required.Additional areas of support could include:Special projectsServices and commodity settlements and invoicingEnergy and inventory balancing and reportingMiddle office reporting and controlsEnergy trading and risk management system processesSupport of the LNG cargo Annual Delivery Program (ADP) for customers and owners; particularly through coordination with terminal personnel, as needed, on daily vessel activityLiaising with Terminal personnel as Commercial’s representation on matters of operations, maintenance, and marine planning and operation.Ideal candidates will be self-starters and team players, requiring minimal oversight, and willing to take on multiple tasks simultaneously with a keen attention to detail. LNG, natural gas, and/or ERCOT power experience with advanced excel skills are preferred. Compensation and title will be commensurate with experience.Duties/Responsibilities

Routine analytical and project management activities in support of:Management of key commercial contracts, agreements and the systems, business processes, and procedures critical to their successful implementationSupport of day-to-day planning and scheduling activities including liaising with the Marine department and Customers on vessel-related inquiriesSupport of the integrated Commercial supply chain of Freeport LNG by developing, documenting, and improving processes and procedures for customer activities and reportingAnalysis and reporting for ongoing front, middle, back office and terminal operations processes in support of company activities under its services and commodities contractsReporting to senior management including, but not limited to, relevant commodity and services pricing and fundamentals for all relevant commodity markets (gas/NGLs, LNG, & power)Business planning and financial projection modelingRisk control and regulatory reportingCommodity and services system managementLong-term commercial excellence initiativesAd hoc projects and reporting, as assigned by department leadershipEssential Functions

Minimum Education Required:

BA in supply chain, economics, finance, engineering, or related field or commensurate professional experience in a directly-related fieldMinimum Experience Required:

2-4 years analytical experience (in addition to the minimum educational requirement).Preferred Experience:

Familiarity with commodity contracts, natural gas and/or ERCOT power market fundamentals, familiarity with the LNG supply chain, and associated commodity transactions.Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

Support the policies, efforts, and programs of Freeport LNG Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) Management System. Actively participate in the HSE Management System Policies. Ensure that HSE concerns are given priority in all activities completed within their area of responsibility.
