DescriptionThe Senior Financial Analyst, Revenue is a great opportunity for someone seeking an analytical finance role. This position is accountable for developing the processes and tools that will provide the insight required to meet the company's financial objectives. In this role you will be charged with improving accuracy, simplifying execution and providing leadership in the form of "Best Practices" to the Business Units regarding procedures for proper revenue recognition.
ResponsibilitiesLead the process of improving accuracy and ensuring the effectiveness of Revenue Recognition in accordance with ASC 606.Take responsibility for numerous financials related to the supported area.Maximize business value by providing business-savvy thought leadership, analyses and counsel for accuracy related to Revenue Recognition for the organization.Collaborate with senior management to advise, plan, forecast revenue accurately.Provide guidance to non-financial associates with regard to Corporate Accounting/ Finance policies and standards.Deliver reduction in time spent on recurring activities via process improvements, automation and simplification.Assist in resolving accounting issues.Lead build-out of robust financial process and internal controls (SOX) to drive accuracy.Perform month-end close and reporting processes related to all revenue and associated receivable reserves.Lead the budget and rolling forecast process for area supported.
Qualifications3-5 years of accounting experience preferable in a large public accounting firm.Strong interpersonal, verbal, written communication and presentation skills.Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related area required; CPA preferred.
