The responsibilities of this role include creating strategic and tactical roadmaps charting the deployment of digital solutions SAP offers while developing compelling business cases to help guide our customer’s strategic decision-making activities.The BTS MRO Architect will provide comprehensive advice to our customers on long- and short-term opportunities for their key strategic imperatives and recommend innovations which anticipate the future direction of both business and IT stakeholders in the MRO/Aftermarket area (with particular focus on Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul activities for Assets as well as customers, i.e. in the A&D, Federal and State and Local Government environment).Facilitate collaborative architecture discussions with our customers IT and business executivesWork effectively across multiple functions and teams to define clear requirements to achieve business outcomesAnalyze key business and IT requirements in the BTS Acquire to Retire area (with particular focus on Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul activities for Assets as well as customers)Develop strategic roadmaps for the MRO area encompassing the evolution of enterprise business solution portfolios from current to future stateIdentify improvement potentials within the MRO area (with particular focus on Public Sector customers and A&D)Influence transition states toward joint business outcomes building on SAP solution valueQualifications:Excellent interpersonal skills in areas such as teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation - able to lead customer engagements at an executive levelProven excellent knowledge in MRO processes and deep implementation knowledge in SAP ECC, S/4HANA and cloud solutions for MRO (ideally in the Public Sector (Federal Civ and DoD) or A&D)Strong written, verbal communication and presentation skills; ability to present and discuss strategies and technical information in a manner that establishes rapport, persuades others, and establishes understanding for technical and non-technical audiencesAbility to estimate the financial impact of various solution architecture alternatives5+ years of SAP solution experience, 5+ years management consulting experience10+ years of solution and/or architecture (business & IT) experienceMBA preferredMeet the team:Business Transformation Services (BTS) is the strategic advisory arm of SAP’s Service & Support organization. SAP provides the hourly base salary rate range applicable for the posted role. The targeted range for this position is 150,400 - 335,900 USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidates will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. SAP offers limited benefits for employees hired into hourly or like roles subject to applicable plan/policy terms.
