Cascadia Healthcare is seeking an experienced Director of Nursing in Eastern Idaho. This is a rare opportunity to grow our clinical leadership team and we are excited to take our patient care to the next level.
Position Summary:
The Director of Nursing is responsible for oversight of the daily clinical and administrative operations of the nursing department, ensuring that each resident receives the necessary care and services needed to reach their full potential.
Ensures that the nursing department’s philosophy and objectives incorporate evidence-based practice in providing high quality care and quality of life to each resident.
Serves as an advocate for the residents, staff and direct reports.
Fosters high standards of resident care through the provision and promotion of diligent orientation and continuing education efforts, adequate levels of nursing personnel, properly prepared nursing supervisors and managers, and current policies and procedures.
Works collaboratively with Healthcare Administrator/CEO, working as the Administrator/CEO’s clinical partner.
Specific focus for this position will be on nurse leadership team development, census growth in the facility, survey/regulatory compliance, and business acumen of long-term care industry.
Qualifications:
Education:
Graduate of accredited school of nursing, BSN or MSN preferred.
Licenses/Certification:
Valid RN license in the state employed.
Valid CPR certification.
DNS-CT or CDONA, optional.
Valid driver’s license.
Experience:
3-5 years successful experience as a Director of Nursing or equivalent position in long-term care facility preferred.

$110,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
