Job ID: 2672250 | Amazon.com Services LLCAs a Senior Technical Program Manager (TPM), Transactional Storage and Config, you will work to enable the movement of critical Amazon data allowing business service workloads to operate regions of their choice. The end-state architecture will enable services to break region coupling while retaining the ability to keep critical business functions within a region. This architecture will improve customer latency through local affinity to compute resources and reduce the blast radius in case of region failures.We are looking for a passionate, deeply technical, and results-oriented Technical Program Manager (TPM) to define and drive Transactional Data Movement initiatives, and drive fundamental architectural changes across the Amazon software stack to enable this vision. You will have a proven track record of planning and delivering complex programs with multi-year roadmaps, using Agile and incremental delivery methods.About the teamThe Transactional Storage and Config (TSC) organization supports the Amazon builders by providing technologies for Transaction Storage, high cardinality configuration storages, and safe movement of Amazon Data. Our projects support Amazon businesses like Stores, Alexa, Kindle, and Prime Video. We drive adoption of ever-evolving and cutting-edge AWS and non-AWS technologies, and work closely with AWS teams to improve AWS public offerings. Our organization focuses on robust and scalable solutions, simple to use, and delivered with engineering best practices.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience5+ years of technical product or program management experience3+ years of software development experience5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experienceExperience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedulesPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

The base pay for this position ranges from $133,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $231,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
