Select how often (in days) to receive an alert:About the RoleWe are looking for a pro-active, highly motivated and result oriented insurance professional with an entrepreneurial spirit and desire to build and maintain a profitable book of Middle Market Miscellaneous Professional Liability business.The leader will be responsible for shaping and executing the strategy of a new professional liability product within a team of other professional liability products.You will lead the drafting of policy wording and key coverages.With the support of actuary, you will develop rates and underwriting standards.Responsible for developing and maintaining broker relationships in the MPL space.Analyze data to steer profitable decision making, risk selection, recognize market cycles and trends.Proven record of success working across various disciplines (actuary, finance, claims, operations, legal, etc.).

If you want to help us build a new Primary MPL product from the ground up with a professional team at an insurance company who cares about the whole person, this is the job for you.To succeed in this role, you must bring:7+ years of Miscellaneous Errors and Omissions Underwriting experience.Balanced awareness of risk and opportunities with strong business and financial acumen.Strong communication (verbal and written), influencing, negotiation, organization, time management and analytical skills.Excellent people and leadership capabilities allowing us to attract and keep top talent.Confident with basic data analytics, preferred.

Domestic travel required with occasional international travel.The role is open to Chicago, IL or Kansas City, MO office locations. There is potential to consider other locations for a qualified individual.
