POSITION OVERVIEWZelis is seeking to hire a Director, Data Analysis who will develop and communicate data-driven insights derived from Zelis’ sales pipeline opportunities. The new leader will be responsible for projecting the value of specific sales opportunities via analytical methods including assumption basis-work and other simulation methodologies. The Impact Analysis delivered support the growth of Zelis client base with upsell & new logo initiatives. Key partnerships with Sales & Product areas will aid in dynamic Impact Analysis results and value propositions. The new leader will report to the Sr. Vice President of Analytics & Insights, oversee a team of ~6, and may be based anywhere in the United States.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Advise Sales & prospects on scoping of analytic opportunities, data quality, and delivery expectations.

Use of predictive analytics to accurately portray product performance to existing & prospective customers.

Translate data insights into practical implications and opportunities for the Sales organization.

Prepare data-driven content and communicate insights efficiently to multiple audiences.

Coach others across the organization to instill a culture of fact‐based decision making based on data‐driven analytics.

Evaluate, develop, select, and integrate new tools and processes for data gathering and reporting.

Provide direct oversight to a team of 5 Data Analysts & 1 Manager.

Develop vision for future state organization of the Product Analytics organization structure. Recruit, hire, train, and develop ongoing training, performance management, and coaching programs to promote leadership development and performance excellence within the Impact Analysis function.

Invest in and build improved infrastructure for Zelis’ Impact Analysis function.

Define the business applications related to data acquisition, reporting capabilities, performance management, analytics, and visualization.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s Degree required and 15+ years experience in analytics.

10+ years’ experience in an analytics leadership role.

Expertise in the collection, analysis, and delivery of large, multidimensional data sets, including using advanced analytical tools and methodology (e.g., Tableau, SQL, Python).

Experience designing and delivering analyses that inform product roadmaps. Comfortable analyzing product adoption and customer usage data to provide insight into growth opportunities.

Experience building and leading cross functional teams across the go‐to‐market organization, including partnering with stakeholders in Sales, Marketing, Product and/or Customer Success.

Strong business acumen and financial skillsets, with the ability to analyze and effectively interpret financial, sales, marketing customer information for effective decision making.

A high energy, hands‐on leadership style that is capable of leading and influencing cross‐functional stakeholders in a high‐growth, private equity backed environment.

Excellent communication skills, including written, verbal and presentation skills; comfortable and credible with both internal stakeholders and external audiences.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

MBA or other advanced degree preferred.

Experience in the healthcare technology industry.

Specific experience with large sets of healthcare claims data preferred.

Strong project, program implementation and management skills; experience with project management tools.

Experience building process and organization capability with scale, including recruiting, hiring, and optimizing a high-performing team.
