$162,097 – $202,621 Annually plus 2% deferred comp and fully paid health benefitsDescription:The City of Sunnyvale is searching for a Budget Manager in the Department of Finance. The Budget Manager is a division-level manager responsible for developing, administering, and overseeing the City’s sophisticated Operating and Capital Budgets and Twenty-Year Financial Plans. This position participates in the development of the City’s financial systems, conducts and presents complex financial information and analysis to executive management and others to assist in policy decision making. This classification receives administrative direction from the Director of Finance or Assistant Director of Finance and exercises direct supervision over management, professional, technical and clerical staff in the Budget Division.Qualifications:A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in economics, accounting, finance, business or public administration or a closely related field, AND Five years of increasingly responsible management and/or administrative analytical work experience which includes a minimum of three years of budget experience.How to Apply:The City of Sunnyvale provides an excellent benefits package, including 4% City-paid Employee PERS contribution and the 2% at 60 retirement plans for Classic employees.
