Primary PurposeThe Software Engineer position is primarily responsible for providing business value by deploying and supporting business solutions and systems. The role designs, develops, enhances, tests, debugs, and integrates business solutions. Partners with Business clients to develop/define requirements that set the foundation for solutions to be built and/or implemented. This role works closely with internal IT staff and/or vendors and to document and design solutions based on requirements provided by our business partners. The role is also responsible for maintaining/supporting all aspects of deployed solutions. The Software Engineer configures, codes, develops, and implements solutions, including configuration/support of associated interfaces and platform. The position is responsible for adhering to internal development processes (Change Management) and application lifecycle guidelines.Duties and ResponsibilitiesValue Delivery, Strategy, and Planning

Participates in the design, code, customize, test, and deploy moderately complex computer programs to support and enhance business solutions and application interfaces.Responsible for contributing to the delivery of one or more processes, solutions, and/or projects by delivering agreed activities, applying judgement, and selecting appropriate methodologies to inform recommendations. Considerate of success criteria, timelines, barriers, risks, and issues.

Delivery and Execution

Implements, integrates, and configures third party applications, database, and services for both cloud-based and on-premises services.Provides primary and/or secondary post-implementation support activities for systems/applications as required, including after-hours assistance and communication when required.Fosters and maintains positive relationships with business clients and IT colleagues, including achievement of Service Level Agreements (SLAs).Works collaboratively with users to understand the business requirements and value chain of solutions technologies and ensure compliance of all new systems with guidelines and security standards.Responsible for the identification and resolution of issues in development, QA, and production environments.Performs root cause analysis.Coordinates with vendors and remote support when necessary to resolve issues.

Collaboration

Communicates with end users during analysis, development, testing, and operational phases including status updates, issue identification, and approval requirements.Works with cross-functional IT and enterprise teams to build alignment and model commitment to high performance as "one team".Works across security teams leveraging cloud access security brokers, cloud security management or governance tools to bolster security.Builds relationships with business unit stakeholders, external service providers, and architecture teams, inspire ideas and exemplary solutions from inception to implementation.

Performs other duties as assigned (no more than 5% of duties).Required QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent relevant work experience.2+ years working as a software engineer, software developer, or related role.Bilingual written/verbal fluency in Spanish and English required.Technical Skills/Knowledge:

Proven technical skills with emphasis on development with the Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate).Experience with common development frameworks and methodologies (.NET, ASP.NET, C#, JavaScript, Python, Object Oriented Design, HTML, CSS, SOA).Experience utilizing Software support tools such as Visual Studio, SQL Server Enterprise Manager.Experience using software Testing and Configuration Management tools and techniques.Experience with common Azure services (DevOps, Blob Storage, etc.).Competent to work on most phases of applications programming activities (analysis, design, testing, deployment) including documentation and technical writing.Experience with SDLC methodologies (Waterfall and Agile) and formal change management procedures.Experience supporting OOTB systems and proficient level of understanding in supporting end-to-end development and maintenance of applications.Knowledge of software products or systems supporting business functions and ability to participate in technical code reviews.Ability to compare key factors support technology selection criteria consistent with business strategy.Ability to configure IT systems and apply appropriate security and compliance standards.Ability to gather organizational technology architecture requirements, adhere to technical guidelines, select tools that align to business needs and technology guidelines, and document issues that arise in the design and implementation process that should be addressed as a technology architecture point of discussion.

Collaboration:

Intermediate troubleshooting and experience documenting root cause analysis, working across technology and business teams.Strong organizational skills; detail-oriented while managing multiple tasks concurrently.Works well in a team environment or as an individual contributor.Strong verbal and written communication skills.

HYBRID: Work a combination of onsite and remote days each week, typically 3 days per week onsite.Information TechnologyFull-time$96,600.00 - $144,900.00Note: The Company strives to ensure that employees are paid equitably and competitively.
