is a 32-bed general surgical unit. The unit offers three levels of care: Floor, Telemetry, and Intermediate Medical Care (IMC). You will learn many valuable nursing skills through a comprehensive structured unit orientation, attend core Department of Surgery courses, and be assigned a designated preceptor during your residency. The charge nurse does not have a patient assignment in order to be available as a resource during each shift. Monday - Fridays 10:30AM - 11:00PM, an experienced nurse functions as a resource nurse. They have no patient assignment, so they are available to assist with admissions, discharges, troubleshooting, emergencies and more!Registered Nurse I - Surgical Progressive Care Unit.

This position is for the new grad RN that will be automatically enrolled in a year-long accredited Nurse Residency Program (NRP).Requirements:Graduated from an accredited nursing program.Completion of Clinical Rotation.Associate Degree in Nursing required.Tuition reimbursement - BSN/MSN matriculation required within one-year of hire and completion of degree within five-years of hire.Active Maryland Board of Nursing (MBON) or Compact State Registered Nursing license is required.CPR/BLS certification required.
