S/he also provides training and support to end users.Reporting to the Senior Manager of Workplace Productivity, the Application Analyst I will provide technical support for the entire suite of Workplace Productivity applications, including but not limited to Microsoft 365 - Outlook, Office, Exchange Online, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint Online, PowerApps, Power BI, etc. As other applications and tools are identified or acquired that fall into the category of Workplace Productivity, they may be added to the portfolio of applications supported by this role and team.In this capacity, the Application Analyst I will act as a subject matter expert to drive tier 2/3 support tickets to resolution. S/he will ensure these resolutions support both technical and business operational requirements, while upholding a standard of customer service excellence.Principal Duties and Responsibilities:Documents business requirements and translates those into functional specifications for the software application.Develops and executes test plans and performs other software quality assurance tasks.Trains end users on the operation of software applications. Develops end user documentation.Provides ongoing support of the software applications by identifying and resolving issues, and escalating as needed for timely resolution.Provides high quality, customer-focused services.Runs reports and performs other tasks associated with the ongoing operation of the software environment.Participates in regular team meetings to discuss team activities, issues and updates.Uses the Mass General Brigham values to govern decisions, actions and behaviors.Working Conditions:Standard office environment with possible local travel to Mass General Brigham sites. May also require travel for training. On-call coverage expected as business needs dictate. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit; talk; or hear; use hands to finger; handle; or feel; reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; and stoop; kneel; or crouch. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 5 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and depth perception.Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree required3-5 years of healthcare information technology experienceA combination of education and experience may be substituted for requirementsSkills/Abilities/Competencies:Experience in the development, support or operation of software applications, preferably in a healthcare settingAbility to document workflows and business processesStrong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical staffStrong analytic and problem-solving skillsAbility to learn quicklyKnowledge of Microsoft Office 365 and other popular office productivity solutionsEEO StatementMass General Brigham is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
