Preferred Qualifications:

Experience:

A proven track record with 5 to 10 years of professional experience, showcasing your proficiency in structural engineering.Licensure:

Hold a valid Professional Engineer license or the ability to obtain licensure in Colorado.Education:

Possess a B.S. or M.S. degree in Structural, Civil, and/or Architectural Engineering.Innovation:

Demonstrate your ability to craft unique and intricate structural systems, showcasing your creative problem-solving skills.Design Proficiency:

Show proficiency in commercial and residential structural design, detailing, and plan creation utilizing hand calculations, sketches, and design software.Technical Skills:

Exhibit strong technical acumen and familiarity with tools like Revit Structure, along with common structural analysis software (e.g., Risa 2D/3D, Forte, RAM Structural system, Microsoft Office Programs, etc.).Materials Expertise:

Showcase your design experience with diverse materials such as concrete, steel, masonry, mass timber, and post-tensioned concrete.Communication:

Display excellent verbal and written communication skills, allowing you to effectively convey your ideas and insights.Passion:

Reflect a genuine passion for the art of engineering and an intrinsic motivation to excel in your role.Location:

Reside in the Front Range of Colorado or be willing to relocate to this region.Sustainability:

Experience with Sustainability and Lifecycle Assessment (LSA) a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

Industry Leadership:

Represent Anthem as a proactive contributor within the building market.Team Leadership:

Assist Project Manager with development of less experienced team members.Plan Production:

Independently develops plans, specifications, and other project documents.Quality Assurance:

Assist with Quality Control reviews of projects produced by your peers.Financial Oversight:

Assist Project Manager with tracking project budgets.Project Engagement:

Assist with the preparation of project fee proposals and contracts.Client Engagement:

Interact and coordinate independently with clients, contractors and others.Site Engagement:

Periodically conduct on-site visits for job walks and structural observations.Construction Support:

Provide essential Construction Administration support, including site visits, shop drawing review, RFI response, field modifications, and the creation of field observation reports.
