Agility Partners is seeking a qualified Data Governance Analyst to fill an open position with one of our banking clients. The ideal candidate will serve as the primary contact for Data Source and Schema onboarding within their respective Line of Business, collaborating with the Enterprise Data Catalog Program Office. Responsibilities include developing curation plans, writing how-to articles, maintaining lineage diagrams, creating catalog sets, and overseeing tagging. Additionally, the role involves recruiting and training new Business Stewards and Subject Matter Experts while participating in stewardship meetings.Key Responsibilities:Serve as the point of contact for Data Source and Schema onboardingDevelop curation plans for mnemonics onboarding to AlationWrite and maintain how-to articles promoting Data Catalog useCreate and edit lineage diagrams manually in the Alation interfaceMaintain line of business glossaries and approve cross-functional glossary termsTrain users on catalog usage and participate in monthly stewardship meetingsBenefits and Perks

Qualifications:Hands-on experience in Alation Catalog AdministrationFlexibility for travel if required and ability to work ESTBachelor's degree in Computer Science3-4 years of relevant experienceTechnical skills in Python 2-3, Hadoop, and Business AnalysisGood communication skills and ability to work within and across teamsExperience with database technologiesKnowledge of the ETL process
