for more information about our Benefits and Rewards.Minimum Requirements/Work ExperienceMinimum of 2 years Critical Care Acute Care hospital experience or 5 years ICU Long Term Facility experienceCompletion of pre-employment drug screening.Completion of pre-employment criminal background reference check.Completion of pre-employment health evaluation including TB screening and annual or bi-annual re-evaluation as indicated by Employee Health.Additional Certifications – required within 6 months of hire (or transfer into) department.Education / Licensure / Certification – Required Prior to Patient Care AssignmentBSN required unless waived by nurse executive council review.Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in California.Basic Life Support (BLS) required for all areas.Completion of unit orientation and clinical competency validation.Graduated from an accredited nursing program unless otherwise approved by the Nursing Executive Council (NEC). Approved accrediting bodies include: ACEN and CCNE others must be approved by NEC.A current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (CPR & AED) & ACLS certification are also required.Current NIHSS Certificate required.Additional Certifications – required within 6 months of hire (or transfer into) department.
