local to our office in Newton, MA , who will oversee a variety of accounting functions, ensuring accuracy and adherence to international accounting standards, and managing other related financial activities.As a developer of technologies that help manage millions of medical images every year, PaxeraHealth is shaping the industry and transforming technologies so radiologists and clinicians improve care and drive results. PaxeraHealth is a global leader and is growing rapidly in the USA.This is a part-time remote position located in the Newton, MA area and requires someone who is energetic, willing to learn, and wants to be involved in a fast-paced and exciting environment.We offer on-the-job training, and a respectful, friendly work environment in a growing company!ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Consolidate financial statements and records across multiple currencies.Ensure accuracy and compliance with international accounting standards.Conduct balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness.Reconcile various general ledger accounts on a monthly basis.Maintain accurate records of reconciliations and supporting documentation.Reconcile bank accounts at least monthly, verify deposits, and address inquiries from banks.Reconcile cash disbursement accounts, payroll, customer accounts, and other financial accounts.Handle and/or verify all revenue-related transactions.Assist in the execution of special projects as assigned by management.Conduct financial analysis and research to support project objectives.Provide recommendations based on findings to improve financial processes and controls.Assist with budgeting and forecasting.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, or related field, required or equivalent combined education and experience.Experience with international accounting standards.At least five years of related experience required.Experience with QuickBooks online.Experience in Journal Entries and Bank Reconciliation.Good understanding of GAAP.Strong understanding of revenue accounting including deferred revenue.SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Knowledge of general financial accounting and cost accounting.Understanding of and the ability to adhere to generally accepted accounting principles.Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software, and accounting software.Professional demeanor and friendly, can-do attitude.Must exercise discretion with customer, employee, and company confidential information.WHAT WE OFFER
