The company has used this experience to expand our service offerings to other agencies within the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), the Department of Defense (DoD), and other Federal Civilian Agencies.Position OverviewThe Business Intelligence Developer will design and implement solutions for integrating data from various sources into cloud-based systems. This role focuses on ensuring data consistency, accuracy, and accessibility.ResponsibilitiesLead Business Intelligence reporting projects. Design, develop and implement complex BI solutions.Develop Business Intelligence dashboards and operational decision reports.Integrate data from various sources into cloud-based BI reporting systems.Using past experiences, make recommendations on Enterprise BI standards/best practices.Work to build adaptors and APIs with multiple data sources.Design, build and deploy BI solutions; Evaluate and improve existing BI reports and dashboards.Building and testing new/updated data flows and ensuring the data meets the business needs.Support Data Analyst and Business Stakeholder in analyzing and resolving any data issues as required.Ensure data consistency, accuracy, and accessibility.Troubleshoot and resolve data integration issues.Collaborate with stakeholders to define data integration requirements.Minimum RequirementsExperience in data integration and ETL processes.Understanding of data Schema modeling (Dimensions, Measures, Slowly Changing Dimension).8+ or more years proven hands-on experience as a Business Intelligence developer.5+ years of experience with Tableau, Power BI, MicroStrategy, etc. Reporting platforms.2+ years' experience with data wrangling (R, Python for data processing).Proficiency in data integration tools such as Informatica, Data Stage, Talend, or Microsoft SSIS.Experience with Cloud Data Platforms - Snowflake, Databricks, Cloudera, etc.Expert level knowledge in area of data modeling (e.g., keys, logical, subject areas, referential integrity).Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with minimal direction, extreme pressure, and tight deadlines.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.EducationBachelor's degree in computer science, data science, or a related field.Clearance RequirementsU.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.Work LocationRemoteCompensationThe salary range for this position is $105,600 - $132,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary.
