Schedule - Shift - Hours: Part Time - Rotating ShiftMaineHealth employees not eligible, must be separated for 6 monthsThis is clinical work in an entry-level Radiologic Technologist position in Diagnostic Radiology. Imaging will be performed as Portable imaging, Operating Room C-arm imaging, Fluoroscopy, as well as all Diagnostic imaging exams.The Clinical Radiology Department at Maine Medical Center has a career ladder for all modalities. Roles are posted at a level I, and based on experience, new hires may be brought in at a higher level with a commensurate rate of pay. Graduate of accredited Radiologic Technology program. Knowledge and experience in Fluoroscopy, Mobile, C-Arm, and basic radiologic imaging.License/Certification:

Must have American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification and valid Maine License in Radiologic Technology. BLS certified.Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience with competency shown in a variety of Fluoroscopy, Operating room, Diagnostic, and Mobile imaging exams. Able to perform imaging studies independently. Analytical ability to determine the best method of providing required images based on the patient’s physical state and pathology in accordance with established protocols. Interpersonal skills necessary to effectively communicate with patients and peers. Completed effective communication class and can have crucial conversations with other staff and radiologists. Ability to perform and/or adapt to the changes associated with different work environments and a variety of equipment.
