Lead/Senior Estimator
to lead projects within our Preconstruction Department. You’ll play a crucial role in guiding projects from initial client concept to groundbreaking alongside our Operations Team. What You'll Do :
Accurate Project Forecasting : Develop precise forecasts for project costs, sizes, and durations.
Comprehensive Analysis : Analyze factors affecting costs, including materials, labor, location, and production rates.
Budget Management : Establish and maintain budgets to help the project team control costs effectively.
In-Depth Understanding : Grasp project scope for specific trades and ensure thorough preparation.
Strategic Participation : Contribute to pre-bidding decision-making and develop winning strategies.
Research & Development : Leverage prior estimating data to create guidelines and precedents for future projects.
Relationship Building : Maintain strong communication and relationships with subcontractors, vendors, clients, and design teams.
Subcontractor Management : Prepare subcontractor bid packages and review scopes of work.
Leadership : Potentially train and oversee Lead Estimators.
Qualifications & Requirements :
Experience : Minimum of 4 years in Commercial Estimating.
Skills : Strong business development, marketing, and sales skills for client collaboration.
Organizational Prowess : Strong organizational skills with excellent analytical and abstract reasoning abilities.
Attention to Detail : Exceptional attention to detail is a must.
Tech Savvy : Proficient in Microsoft Office, with a high proficiency in Excel.
Problem Solver : Effective problem-solving skills to tackle challenges head-on
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $95,000.00 per year
Experience:
Construction estimating: 4 years (Preferred)
Ability to Relocate:
San Antonio, TX: Relocate before starting work (Required)
