Genesis10 is seeking a Delphi Software Developer for a contract with our client in Minnetonka, MN. 80% Remote.
Job Description:This position is responsible for development and unit testing for assigned products and their associated releases; ensuring that software meets quality standards for our user base according to the company's stated delivery schedule. This role will work with Testing to troubleshoot and correct software deficiencies and defects throughout the testing cycles. This role will work with existing software products as well as future strategic development efforts using a range of technologies including but not limited to Delphi, C# WinForms, C# Core, SQL Server, MVC, HTML5, bootstrapper.js, jQuery, WCF, Web API, MEF, and Entity Framework.
Key Responsibilities:
Translate requirements and user stories into functional applicationsDesign, build and Maintain efficient, reusable and reliable applications using Delphi, COM, C#, .Net and Object-Oriented techniquesDesign UI/UX for WinForms and Web Based applicationsEnsure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applicationsDatabase analysis and design using SQL ServerMultitier architectural design (Presentation, Business, Data)Participate in best practices in software development discussionsParticipate in stand up, grooming, planning, demo, and retrospective meetingsAt a minimum, the ability to work from (8:00, 8:30 or 9:00am) to (5:00, 5:30 or 6:00pm) Monday through Friday.Regular consistent attendance is required, that could include attendance at after hour Company events.Ability to accept supervision.Ability to foster, develop and maintain professional and collaborative working relationships. Must be able to get along with others, i.e., peers, supervisors, outside customers, and vendors.Ability to interact effectively and professionally with all levels of management, employees and customers by email, phone and in person.Must be personable, positive, and a professional representative of the Company.Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Required Basic Qualifications:
B.S. in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Engineering or equivalent work experience3+ years of experience/proficiency in Delphi, C# .Net (Winforms/MVC/WebForms/WCF/Web API)1+ years of experience using COM technologies in Delphi and C# .Net3+ years of experience with SQL Server database (or comparable db)Strong understanding of Object-oriented software developmentUnderstanding of the Agile Development Methodology is a nice to haveExcellent verbal and written communication skills.Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook.Experience/proficiency in using JIRA and BitBucket.
