Under the general supervision of the Director of Student Accounts, this position is responsible for providing administrative support and accounting/bookkeeping support in the Student Accounts Office serving a diverse college community.Duties and Responsibilities:Greet and create a welcoming and inclusive environment for students, staff, faculty, administrators, outside agencies, and the general public regarding payment of bills.Responsible for entering and reconciling of tuition waivers and vouchers.Responsible for the processing of student insurance waivers and Masspirg waivers.Responsible for answering inquiries and processing student payments.Answer inquiries, make changes, process reconciliations of, and set up payment plans for student bills.Process daily deposits of co-workers' cash outs.Process daily deposits of manual and electronic cash receipts.Perform other related duties as assigned.Requirements:High School Diploma, GED or HiSET.Ability to work with numbers with accuracy.Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.Ability to understand and apply the laws, rules, policies and procedures governing assigned College activities.Ability to follow written and oral instructions.Ability to file material in accordance with standard filing procedures.Ability to maintain accurate records.Ability to deal tactfully with others.Ability to operate a personal computer and knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).Ability to exercise sound judgment and to maintain confidentiality of student records.Experience with equity-minded work and/or understanding of individuals of diverse identities such as race, ethnicity, socioeconomic level, sexual orientation, veterans, and individuals with different academic preparation levels and varying physical and learning abilities.Location:

Bedford campus with occasional travel to Lowell as needed.Hours:
