This position will be out of Schriever Space Force Base, Colorado Springs, CO.Position Overview:
The selected candidate will join an integrated team tasked with developing and maintaining the physical, functional, and technical requirements baselines necessary to describe the desired capabilities of an evolving MDS (Missile Defense Systems) Command & Control, Battle Management, and Communications (C2BMC) system.Work will be performed under the direction of various technical leads and product owners and will require interfacing with team members, C2BMC management, and government customers to ensure high-quality products are generated on time and within the resources available.Essential Functions:
Requirements elicitation, derivation, and decomposition to lower-level subsystems and components.Maintenance of system and component baselines in a requirement management system.Defining the relationships between internal and external components.Communicating system-level use cases and associated Epics and Feature relationships to a diverse group of customers, developers, engineers, subject matter experts, and users.Generating system/element level functional, performance, and interface specifications to document and control the achievement of the desired capabilities.Basic Qualifications:
Please note your updated security clearance and IAT/relevant certifications on your resume if applicable.Bachelor's Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline from an accredited university and 5 years of related experience, or a Master's degree in a STEM discipline and 3 years experience, or a PhD and 0 years of experience.Ability to perform use case development and prepare systems engineering artifacts to implement customer-requested capabilities.Demonstrated experience in mission analysis with skills in developing use cases, sequence diagrams, and SysML modeling in support of MBSE.Ability to support the development and review of interface documents, system requirements, Verification Cross Reference Matrix (VCRM) development, architectural documentation, system engineering estimates, and author and perform formal and informal engineering reviews.Ability to support various tasks on short notice.Ability to review the content and details of technical products and act as a technical interface to MDA working-level counterparts on an as-required basis.Ability and willingness to travel up-to 10% to support business needs.Applicants must have an active in-scope U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance which is required to start; with the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI (TS/SCI) security clearance.Preferred Qualifications:
Active TS/SCI clearance is highly desired.A DoD 8570 certification at IAT Level II or higher (Security+, GSEC, SCNP, SSCP, CISSP, CISA, GSE, SCNA) highly desired.Experience with other Space Domain and Missile Defense Systems is highly desired.Experience with Agile Methods, Epic, and feature definition is a significant plus.Skills in logical architecture modeling and interface definition, knowledge of cyber security concepts, and security accreditation are highly desirable.What We Can Offer You:

Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
