Summary The section of Rheumatology at Baylor College of Medicine in the Department of Medicine is seeking a highly talented physician to help grow the Faculty Group Practice and the Harris Health medical practice.
Job Duties
Direct patient care-outpatient clinics at Baylor Medicine and Harris Health Community Clinic and inpatient consult service in affiliate hospitals. Does not require research responsibilities but encouraged. Renew and meet all required licenses and certification requirements.
Familiarize with EPIC- electronic medical records and document all patient encounters as needed.
Complete all documentation in a timely manner so that billing and other administrative tasks can happen smoothly to ensure a robust operational system.
Maintain credentialing at all times to ensure practice is not disrupted.
Minimum Qualifications This is a clinical position in which the candidate should be an M.D, or hold both an M.D. and Ph.D., with interests in clinical rheumatology and teaching.
