The Comau Advanced Automation Solutions Business Unit (AAS) is focused on delivering Advanced Automation Solutions and Automation Products to the following businesses: Robotics including Wearables, Cognitive Automation and Digital Solutions, Warehouse/Fulfillment Automation & Logistics Systems and Solutions, Renewable Energy Automation Solutions (Solar, Hydrogen, Wind, etc.), and special customer-driven projects in new industries.To drive the AAS business, in the Product and Solution Management team we are looking for a Product Manager - Logistic and Warehouse Automation.He/She will be responsible at a Global level for the definition of the AAS segment strategy related to Logistic Automation, identification of product and/or solution market opportunities, building the respective business cases, market requirements, target customer profiles, competitors benchmarking, and eventual product marketing mix before industrialization.The Product Manager - Logistic Automation will effectively manage its products and solutions from the original idea to the sunsetting of the product/solution, being responsible for product/solutions margins and profitability. As the main interface between Sales/Customer Management, business development, engineering, and the technology office, the Product Manager ensures the creation of maximum customer value, maintained and continuously improved over the entire solution lifecycle. The successful applicant will report to the Head of Product and Solution Management.Major Duties & Responsibilities

are (not exhaustive):Responsible for strategy and roadmap creation for the defined products and solutions in the logistic and warehousing space.Build business cases to support product initiatives with input from customer groups and business development.Conduct market research and operationally perform market trend analysis in terms of customer demand and competition offerings on products and solutions.Translate customer needs into product requirements before starting and following the process of new product/solution developments, based on thorough market analysis.Closely monitor the products and solutions delivered to the market, aiming to maximize customer satisfaction and profitability.Perform business development activities related to the logistic, warehouse, and fulfillment automation areas.Prepare documentation to present product briefings to external customers/partners/investors and coach internal sales staff on products/solutions to improve sales success rate.Deep knowledge of warehousing automation field (warehouse/logistic organization & terminologies, automation equipment, value chain, etc.).Product Manager skills including knowledge on marketing strategy & communication, budgeting, forecasting & financial essentials.Knowledge of software (e.g. WMS, Flow Simulation Tools, etc.) and hardware (e.g. conveyance systems, AS/RS, etc.) logistic automation equipment and tools.Knowledge of sales and business development processes.Exceptional written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.Ability to work well in a team environment.Education:

Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering.Master’s Degree preferred.

The candidate must have extensive experience in the logistic and warehousing automation field.Minimum 5 years’ experience in the industry as a Solution Manager/Program Manager/Product Manager.Experience in the planning, installation, commissioning, and maintenance of customer fulfillment centers warehouses, ideally with end-user experience; however, experience of automation systems integration in such environments can be considered.Experience in the supply chain industry for logistic automation.Comau offers its global capacity as a manufacturer and systems integrator of complete engineering solutions, robotics, and automation products, from product development to the realization of industrial process automation solutions and an entire range of aftermarket support services.Apply for this position
