E.A. Buck is a fast-growing financial services company with dual headquarters in Denver and Honolulu. We’re seeking an Accounting Manager to join our growing team! The Accounting Manager plays a vital role in overseeing the financial operations of the company. This position involves ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining compliance with regulations, and implementing efficient accounting procedures. The Accounting Manager collaborates with various departments to support strategic decision-making and contributes to the overall financial health of the organization.Candidate will be based in Denver, CO.

This position is a full-time, in-office position based out of our Denver office.NOTE:

Only people who are currently living in Colorado will be considered for this role .

Salary / Benefits Package :Base Salary range of $90,000 to $110,000 per year, based on experience.Competitive benefits package including 100% employer paid health, dental, and vision insurance.Eligibility to enroll in health savings account, flexible savings account, and morePaid vacation (PTO) and paid holidays.Join our mission-driven company and partake in 401k with generous matchingDuties and ResponsibilitiesOversee the preparation and analysis of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making and strategic planning initiatives.Continuously evaluate accounting processes and systems to streamline workflows and enhance efficiency.Maintain the integrity of the general ledger system by reviewing journal entries, reconciling accounts and analyzing discrepancies.Continue to improve processes regarding general ledger management to ensure accurate financialsBudget/Forecast – Assist the CFO in analyzing and preparing annual budgets for presentation to the Executive team.Tax Compliance – Assist in preparing and providing quarterly and annual financials to the external tax team. Assist with additional requests that remain through the year.Regulatory Compliance – Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, regulations and industry guidelines. Assist the CCO with requests during SEC audits.Professional Development – Ensure to be encouraged to take time to continue to develop your skills and knowledge. If necessary, ensure completion of continued professional education where needed.Job Requirements:Bachelor’s Degree RequiredMinimum five (5) years of accounting experienceCPA PreferredSelf-Directed, Self-Motivated, Strong Interpersonal Communications Skills, Highly Organizational, Analytical, Advanced Computer Skills.
