New Job Opportunity - Accounting ManagerNew and exciting job opportunity with a client based out of Washington D.C. Looking to hire an experienced accounting professional with a minimum of 5 years of related work experience.Logistics of the Role:Full Time - Direct HireOn Site for first 6 months - then 1-2 remote a weekDay to Day Activities:Oversee the day-to-day operations of the accounting department (day-to-day management of Order Entry, Billing, Credit & Collections, Accounts Payable)Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and budgetsConduct financial analysis and provide recommendations for improvementAssist with Monthly Financial closing entries and reportingEnsure compliance with tax regulations and handle tax planning and preparationMonitor cash flow, accounts receivable, and accounts payableReconcile bank statements and general ledger accountsQualifications/Requirements:Accounting or finance Degree is RequiredMinimum of 5 years of working accounting experience - Experience working in a small company or law firm is highly preferredFull Cycle Accounting ExperienceCPA highly PreferredCommunications and Organizational SkillsManagement / Leadership ExperienceKnowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
