Our Client has a dynamic team of legal professionals, contributing to the success of their clients in the collections industry. They are looking for a highly skilled, organized, and experienced legal professional with a minimum of 3 years of practice in civil litigation or collection law to join our team.Responsibilities
Manage a caseload of collection matters, including drafting legal documents, conducting legal research, and representing clients in court proceedings.Ensure compliance with all relevant collection laws, regulations, and procedures.Collaborate with clients, opposing parties, and internal teams to negotiate settlements and achieve favourable outcomes.Attend trials, hearings, depositions, and mediations to advocate for clients and negotiate settlements.Provide legal advice and guidance to clients regarding debt collection laws and procedures.Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files and documentation.Stay informed about changes in collection laws and regulations.Requirements
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the Florida Bar and in good standing.3 years of experience practicing collection laws, with a strong focus on debt recovery.Thorough knowledge of collection laws, regulations, and procedures.Excellent communication and negotiation skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines.Proficiency in legal research and case management software.Work Mode:
Hybrid/ Remote option available.
