OVERVIEW:

The Senior Vice President – Treasury Management Sales Leader is responsible for managing the Treasury Management sales team for the First Business Bank – Southeast region. This position serves as player-coach, generating new deposit and treasury service relationships through prospecting and business development activities, providing high quality relationship management to prospective and current clients, recruiting/retaining/developing a high performing sales team that is held accountable to meet and exceed goals, and taking an active role in the community through service and professional associations. The position will contribute as an impactful member of the Southeast region leadership team, and work in partnership with (as well as report directly to) the regional Market President to define strategy and set a course to meet and exceed goals and expectations.

TOP PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES CRITICAL TO SUCCESS

New Business Generation and Sales Leadership:

Lead by example in regional Treasury Management (TM) sales efforts and generate new relationships to the bank, as well as foster collaboration among the TM and Commercial Banking teams to establish and expand client relationships. Serving as a player-coach, be active in the market in direct sales calls to prospective new clients and centers of influence, while also holding producers on the team accountable for goal attainment and financial outcomes. Develop and execute strategic sales initiatives that align with organizational goals, driving market share growth and ensuring overall profitability.Team Recruitment, Management, and Development:

Manage a team responsible for identifying, analyzing, selling and supporting cash management products and services to established business customers and targeted prospective corporate clients. Recruit, develop, lead, and inspire a high-performing team. Demonstrate effective coaching and engagement strategies to achieve outstanding results, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, professional development, and accountability.Treasury Management Strategy -

Responsible for regional deposit and treasury growth strategies and goals; generating additional revenue from the sale of treasury management products and services; attaining established individual, department, and Bank goals through design and management of sales management and officer call programs.Continuous Improvement & Industry Expertise

– Drive a philosophy of continuous improvement among the Treasury Management team, contributing to the efficiency, effectiveness, and overall success of the Treasury Management Department and First Business Bank. Demonstrate, and foster, a strong focus on continued learning to sustain industry expertise and serve as a value-added partner internally and to prospects, clients, and centers of influence.Community Engagement:

Lead initiatives to strengthen the bank’s presence in the Southeast community by fostering partnerships and participating in philanthropic activities. Be actively engaged in building connections, attending networking and community events, and strengthening partnerships with centers of influence. Serve in a leadership role(s) with community/non-profit organizations.QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree and minimum 15 years of commercial banking experience, specifically within Treasury Management and Deposit services7+ years of demonstrated success selling and generating new relationships within Treasury Management and Deposit services5+ years of experience managing a high performing Treasury Management sales teamCTP designation preferredEasily adapts to advancements in technology, ability to keep up with the latest trends and developments in treasury management technologyKnowledge of financial modeling and analysis tools.Experience with CRM Systems (contact relationship management)Understanding of cybersecurity and risk management tools and technologies.
