We are Amazon Robotics and we will give you the tools and support you need to invent with us in ways that are rewarding, fulfilling and fun.Amazon MSP (Mechatronics and Sustainable Packaging) is seeking a motivated and hands-on Test Engineer to join the SEIT (Systems Engineering, Integration and Testing) team. This team is a multi-disciplinary environment of system engineers, data scientists and test engineers dedicated to advancing the knowledge of robotics/automation and how millions of customer orders are fulfilled every day. The test engineer is responsible for the creation and execution of test programs, plans and methods for subsystem verification tests and complete system verification and validation tests to support new technology and product development programs. The test engineer will work with hardware, software and controls development engineers, technical operations and solutions engineering to define, execute and report on verification and validation tests.A day in the life

* This Role Requires 75% National Travel*2+ years of quality assurance engineering experienceExperience in verification testingDegree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent experienceExperience working in new technology or product developmentPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical EngineeringExperience designing and planning test conditions, test scripts, and test data sets to ensure appropriate and adequate coverage and controlDeep hands-on technical expertise in testing of electro-mechanical systemsExperience writing test reports analyzing dataExperience in automation or robotic systemsAn understanding of rapid prototyping optionsExperience with Agile DevelopmentExperience with FEA (Ansys and/or SW Simulation)Understanding of safety systemsFamiliar with a manufacturing environmentBasic coding/scripting capabilitiesExperience creating test plans derived from functional design requirementsExperience with Geometric Dimensioning and ToleranceExperience in 3D CAD (SolidWorks preferred)Design experience of simple parts, assemblies, and fixturesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExperience with Electro-Mechanical systemsAbility and desire to work hands on in lab environmentsAmazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
