At Ping Identity, we're changing the way people and businesses think about cybersecurity, digital experiences, and identity and access management.The Tax Accountant will report to and work directly with the Tax Manager. The individual will be responsible for the preparation of various domestic and foreign tax projects related to compliance, tax planning and other miscellaneous assignments. The individual will provide support to team members and communicate with various departments within the company to understand processes and obtain support for tax deliverables.Job Duties and Responsibilities:Assist with the preparation of the interim and annual global tax provision, including calculating book to tax differences, preparing tax account reconciliations, and maintaining deferred tax rollforwards.Prepare supporting calculations and workpapers, including state apportionment, related to U.S. federal, state and local income tax returns. The returns are prepared by an external service provider but underlying support is maintained in-house.Proactively manage global due date calendar and communicate upcoming due dates to the team.Prepare and file state annual reports and other various state quarterly tax filings.Communicate and respond to notices and mailings in a timely manner.Assist in research of technical tax issues and prepare technical memoranda accordingly.Collaborate with accounting, legal and other departments to accomplish company objectives.Qualifications:We are looking for a forward-thinking individual who has the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.A strong sense of ownership and willingness to take initiative.A positive and team centric attitude.Ability to meet deadlines with precise organization and keen attention to detail.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Experience with Federal and State income tax.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.Education and Experience:Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.Two to three years of tax experience.Public accounting candidate strongly preferred.Licensed CPA or in process of obtaining licensure preferred.Salary Range:

$73,000-80,000In accordance with Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act (SB 19-085) the approximate compensation range for this role in Colorado is listed above.
