Then this might be the right unit for you! Our Progressive Cardiac Unit is a 23-bed Cardiac Pulmonary unit with unit-based & satellite monitoring capabilities. Patients are transferred from either CICU, MICU, general medicine, or from the ER. PCU is dedicated to care for post MI, COPD, CHF, renal disease, R/O MI, and vent-dependent patients; IV drips. Additional beds are designated for step down IMC patients.Our Progressive Cardiac Unit is a great place to learn where you can grow and expand your skill set and be empowered as a Registered Nurse to drive the care of your patients.Great unit for New Grads or experienced nurses that want to focus on hearts!Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center stands as a distinguished institution, encompassing a 420-bed teaching hospital, a dedicated trauma center, a neonatal intensive care unit, and a renowned geriatrics center.
