This commitment to caring is our allegiance to the community as we strive to provide -Exceptional Care for Life- while offering many services that are rarely found in like-size communities.Essential Job Functions:Embrace the philosophy of -Resident Centered Care- and respect the rights of the residents while actively monitoring the delivery of care.Ensure that the Nursing Department operates within the expectations of all federal, state, and local regulations.Monitor nursing equipment and inventory to assure availability and working order.Utilize facility resources appropriately, minimizing waste and performing duties with concern for the financial impact of the department.Monitor monthly financial statements to ensure compliance with the approved budget.Minimum Qualifications:At least five years of clinical experience in a Nursing Home Setting.Possess knowledge of nursing process, assessment, theory, and practice.LPN (RN licensure required within 12 months of hire).Education:
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in nursing with at least five years of clinical experience.Certifications and Licenses:Unencumbered Montana State Registered License or member of a compact state.Ability to obtain RN licensure within 12 months of hire.Position Summary:
Sidney Health Center is seeking a Director of Nurses to join our I CARE team in the Extended Care setting.
