Accounting ManagerOur local non-profit client seeks a mission-driven Accounting Manager to join their team! The ideal candidate is a natural leader who enjoys a collaborative approach.Responsibilities
Oversee month end activities ensuring timeliness, accuracy, and GAAP compliance.Provide direct supervision to a team of 4 accounting staff.Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and allocations.Prepare financial statements for each department.Gather documentation for audits.Provide back-up support for payroll processing.Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.Prior non-profit, government, senior living, or project-based accounting experience preferred.5+ years of progressive accounting experience with strong knowledge of GAAP, GL functions, and month end processes.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact at all levels of a collaborative and people-focused organization.Proficiency with ERP systems and intermediate to advanced Excel skills.Benefits
