located in Manalapan New Jersey, is seeking a full time Ambulatory Equine Associate Veterinarian to join our team providing high quality care that our clients and patients have received for 42 years.
About Colts Neck Equine Associates:
Colt's Neck Equine is a primary care ambulatory practice consisting of 7 veterinarians working together in a congenial and cooperative environment. We stress exceptional customer service combined with a progressive attitude toward medicine. Our practice has both race and show horse clients as well as a broad pleasure horse base. We have a full range of diagnostic equipment including 4 digital radiographs, 3 digital ultrasounds, gastroscope, shock waves, 1 class 4 and 1 RLT laser, and a lameness locater. The practice environment stresses sharing workload and shared on call with a strong work ethic and a harmonious work life integration. We strive to be exceptional in every way and the veterinarians and employees work together like family.
Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality veterinary care to equine patients.
Develop a practice tailored to individual interests and expertise.
Participate in regular team meetings and collaborative discussions.
Utilize advanced diagnostic equipment effectively.
Deliver exceptional customer service to clients.
Qualifications:
DVM or equivalent degree.
Experience in equine veterinary medicine preferred.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Willingness to pursue areas of interest within the field.
A successful applicant for this position will receive a practice vehicle,
3, 4 and 5 day work weeks available , paid time off, CE stipend, opportunity for health care and numerous other benefits.
Salary and benefits:
Starting salary is $130,000+ depending on experience . We offer a full benefit package that includes generous CE, PTO, a medical insurance stipend and personal use of the practice vehicle, as well as 4-6 day work week options.
