This role will be located at our Englewood, Colorado facility.Role Overview:We are looking for a highly motivated Staff Accountant to join our growing Finance team. The Staff Accountant's scope will include execution of core accounting processes, financial reporting, payroll management, and assisting with audit readiness. Beehive Industries is rapidly growing. The Staff Accountant will be a crucial member of our growing Finance & Accounting team.Core Responsibilities:Execute monthly accounting processes in-line with US GAAP; primary focus will be execution of month-end close, bank reconciliations, inventory and other balance sheet account reconciliations, fixed asset accounting, and preparation of adjusting journal entries.Support with new system implementation and testing, especially as it relates to cost accounting framework.Maintain best-practice accounting processes and controls in-line with GAAP.Partner with Payroll Analyst to process payroll, post to GL, and manage payroll tax filings and notices with payroll provider.Complete sales tax filings and other related tax requests.Review transactions with AR / AP team to ensure accurate posting to GL.Support new employee training as it relates to accounting and finance processes (e.g., travel reimbursement and payroll).Support FP&A Analyst in commentary and variance analysis in preparation for leadership business reviews.Assist other cross-functional team members with accounting matters and ad-hoc reporting as needed.Qualifications:2 + years of experience preferred, with strong understanding of US GAAP.Bachelor's degree in Accounting.Experience in manufacturing / industrial sectors with strong understanding of cost-accounting and inventory.Can-do attitude is required; ability to work through roadblocks and challenges on a daily basis to find a solution.Experience with best in-class Accounting software and ERP systems; experience with NetSuite and Epicor systems is a plus.High proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Teams, PowerPoint, SharePoint).Detail oriented and organized, ability to manage multiple deliverables and meet deadlines.If this sounds like you, please submit an application with your resume.
