This position requires technical proficiency as well as an eager attitude, professionalism, and solid communication skills.ResponsibilitiesDevelop, maintain, and support items within the Salesforce platform and various other corporate systems/tools using recommended best practices.Collaborate with other internal groups to translate business and functional requirements into technical implementation for the automation of existing processes and the development of new applications. Ability to suggest alternative technical solutions to business problems.Communicate with internal customers in non-technical terms, understand business requirements, and propose solutions.Manage projects from specification gathering to development, QA, user acceptance testing, and deployment to production.Participate in meetings and organize work and/or training sessions around new software being introduced into the ICE technology environment.Document changes and author documentation on software development standards and practices.Enhance team and coworkers through knowledge sharing and implementing best practices in day-to-day activities.Take initiative to continually learn and enhance technical knowledge and skills.Demonstrate very strong personal initiative, consistently responsible for many critical deliverables.Ability to prioritize work efficiently without direct guidance from management.Ability to lead large projects and effectively provide status updates to manager.Knowledge and ExperienceBachelor's degree (CS or IT preferred).8+ years of development experience on the Salesforce platform.Experience in developing LWC, APEX, and Aura Components.Strong experience with Lightning Web/Aura/Apex/VisualForce.Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.Experience with Web Services/Web APIs: SOAP, REST, XML, JSON.Solid understanding of integrations.Experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud, CPQ, Service Cloud, Customer Support, Case Management, and Communities is strongly preferred.Ability to multitask and work independently on multiple projects.Salesforce.com certifications including (but not limited to) Admin and Platform Developer 1 and 2 certifications, with the first certification starting a minimum of 5 years from the current date.Solid understanding and experience with various SDLC methodologies.Solid technical background, especially around web/software development, relational databases, and object-oriented concepts.Strong analytical/problem-solving skills.Detail-oriented with the ability to rapidly learn and take advantage of new concepts, business models, and technologies; ability to identify issues/opportunities and recommend solutions, ideas, and more efficient approaches.Strong written and verbal communication skills.PreferredFamiliarity with Web Application Architecture (HTTP, Client/Server, HTML, JavaScript).Experience with SQL and Database Technologies (SQL Server, MySQL).Experience with Web Services/Web APIs including both SOAP and REST.Financial industry expertise.ScheduleThis role offers work-from-home flexibility of one day per week.Intercontinental Exchange, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employer.
