and as a member of Integrated Strategic Solutions Engineering (ISSE), you'll immerse yourself in the intricacies of

What YOU Will Do:

Capture, analyze, decompose, and trace System requirements

Design, develop, and model systems and sub-systems

Develop and verify test procedures at the system and sub-system levels

Plan project level work and meet schedule, cost, and performance goals

Manage program technical risks by evaluating requirements and design aspects

Interact with a cross-functional team of (including, but not limited to) Engineers, Engineering leaders, Program Managers, Business Developers, Finance, Quality, and Production

Understand and support the manufacturing build, test, quality, and customer acceptance review processes

Represent Systems engineering team at internal and external customer meetings

Serve as a liaison between functional discipline groups and internal and external customers

Travel occasionally to support program requirements

What YOU Will Learn:

You will learn the Collins Aerospace solutions developed for military platforms.

You will learn to apply Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) principles to cutting edge solution for emerging technologies.

Learn to become a champion within our CORE Operating Systems.

Qualifications YOU Must Have:

Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience.

Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.

U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Experience with Model-Based System Engineering (MBSE) concepts and tools.

Experience working with system/sub-system requirements.

Experience in system/sub-system design definition.

This role is also eligible for the Re-Empower Program. Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 96,000 USD - 200,000 USD.

The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
