Summary

The System Director-Clinical Documentation Integrity (CDI) is responsible for developing and providing strategic oversight to the HSHS CDI department, bringing industry best practice processes to HSHS. Responsible for the daily operations of all functions of chart review and clinical documentation improvement and acting as a change agent, driving standardization efforts that will contribute to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the HSHS CDI team.

Qualifications

Education:Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, HIM or a related field is required.Master’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration or related field is preferred.Experience:8 years Coding, Billing and/or CDI experience is required.5 years acute care experience is required.3 years leadership experience is required.Certifications, Licenses and Registrations:Coding Specialist (CCS), Clinical Documentation Improvement Practitioner (CDIP), Certified Clinical Documentation Specialist (CCDS), Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT), or Registered Health Information Administration (RHIA) is required or must be obtained within one year of hire date.Physical Requirements:
