Under the direction of the Cardiovascular Service Line Clinical Director, and as a member of the Renown Medical Group (RMG), the Womens Heart Center Program Director will work directly and jointly with the Cardiovascular Service Line, Renown Medical Group, Acute Care Leadership, and other Senior Leaders to develop and maintain a Womens Heart Center.MINIMUM/PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:Education:

Medical Degree from an accredited Medical School required. Successful completion of an ACGME accredited residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship in Cardiovascular Disease. An advanced degree in public health or business is desirable, but not necessary.Experience:

Minimum of three years of experience actively participating in a womens heart clinic including in an acute health care facility and/or an integrated healthcare network or successful completion of a fellowship in womens heart disease. Preference given to those candidates with previous medical director/leadership experience.License(s):

Must possess and maintain a current and valid State of Nevada Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic (DO) medicine license. A controlled substance License to Prescribe issued by the State of Nevada and Controlled Substance Registration Certificate issued by the DEA is required.Certification(s):

Board-Certified in Cardiovascular Disease through a board accepted by Renown Health. Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Certification Life Support (ACLS) required. Prefer American Heart Association (AHA) approved certification, but will accept online certification from American Red Cross Training Services, Advanced Medical Certification, or ACLS Certification Institute.Computer / Typing:

Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word and have the ability to use a computer to complete online learning requirements for job-specific competencies, access online forms and policies, complete online benefits enrollment, etc.Ability to credential through Renown's Medical Staff and/or payor credentialing, as applicable.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:
