Summary:

The Acute Community Treatment Team Lead (ACT) is a member of the administrative team responsible for directing recovery-oriented treatment of clients who are members of Envision Unlimited’s mental health program. Responsibilities include providing clinical oversight of client treatment, reviewing and signing off on IM-CANs, and providing direct supervision and training, including technical assistance, to mental health staff responsible for providing ACT services.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Master’s degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or related field.

Clinically licensed (LCSW/LCPC/LMFT).

3+ years’ experience in the social service field and at least 1 year in a mental health program.

Minimum of 1 year supervisory/managerial experience preferred.

Strong oral and written communication and organizational skills.

Must possess a valid driver's license and pass a background check.

Comfortable working within an agency setting serving clients with MI/DD.

Essential Responsibilities:

Participate in decision making on an administrative level in conjunction with the Director of Crisis Services.

Maintain compliance with DHS, CARF, and other government regulations regarding the ACT Program.

Assist with program development, including policies, procedures, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the ACT program.

Maintain Key Performance Indicators for ACT services.

Design individual and group training opportunities for staff based on program needs and identified professional development needs.

Provide direct supervision and training to mental health staff responsible for clinical, crisis, and ACT services, maintaining supervision logs and carrying out progressive disciplinary action as needed.

Assist with interviewing, hiring, and training new staff.

Provide direct supervision and training to direct service staff on the ACT Team, documenting coaching logs for each staff member and providing disciplinary action as needed.

Attend weekly supervisions with the Director of Crisis Services and participate in committees and client events as needed.

OTHER EXPECTATIONS:

Manage referrals and intakes, conducting screenings and completing IM-CANs for all new clients meeting program criteria.

Provide and document crisis interventions and additional risk assessments as needed, completing incident reports within 24 hours when appropriate.

Ensure all services provided are in accordance with the client’s individual treatment plan.

Enter, maintain, and update client information in Envision Unlimited’s Electronic Health Record (Quantum).

Other duties as assigned.
