We are seeking an experienced Product Manager to take ownership of our data extraction platform, which leverages Machine Learning & AI, packaged in user-intuitive workflows, to consume and aggregate unstructured financial data from millions of documents on an ongoing basis.This position reports to the Head of Product and will sit across a diverse array of stakeholders, including: ML & front-end engineering teams, UI/UX designers, and Data Operations. It will provide an opportunity to apply your expertise across a range of diverse and intellectually stimulating opportunities, with full ownership of the planning, execution and delivery of the Data Extraction & Machine Learning roadmaps. To support this objective, you will use data to analyze collection processes, embrace new technologies to stay at the forefront of document ingestion, and work with a talented team of engineers and designers to deliver a user-friendly experience.We value people who take pride in their work and show an aptitude for learning quickly. Our ideal candidate will have prior experience managing data extraction technologies in an official Product function, familiarity with Machine Learning and AI applications, and a demonstrated track record of using analytics to drive operational efficiencies. This goes beyond usage data: rather, a combination of analytical frameworks for process analysis combined with strong intuition will be important. In general, you should have a strong sense of ownership and enjoy driving projects from inception through planning, refinement, and scaling in production.Even if you do not meet all criteria, we would still encourage you to apply! Chronograph offers an entrepreneurial environment where you will be able to proactively identify opportunities to develop and strengthen both our Data Operations & Product Management functions.As a Product Manager at Chronograph, you will:Lead the prioritization, planning and execution of Data Extraction & Machine Learning projects, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outcomesDevelop and maintain a detailed product roadmap, prioritizing initiatives based on business needs, technical feasibility and, resource availabilityCollaborate with Machine Learning engineers to incorporate the latest models into our data extraction techniquesDesign, shape, and deliver features that span document ingestion, data extraction, workflow design, and validationUtilize data and analytics to continuously optimize our data extraction processes, and identify areas for technology-driven solutionsPlan and manage agile sprints, ensuring clear objectives, timely progress and coordinating cross-functional deliveryFoster a collaborative environment, encouraging innovation and continuous improvement across our Data Operations, Design and Engineering teamsYou will be successful in this role if you have:Five (5) or more years of professional product management experience, including at least two (2) years of direct experience with ML applicationsExcellent organizational skills, with a proven ability to coordinate resources across teams and drive cross-functional projects through completionExperience with process analysis, either through management or technical consulting, a fintech provider, or other direct experience with large-scale data extraction operationsDeep intuition for understanding user problems, and and an ability to identify, define and deliver technology solutionsExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with deep experience articulating roadmap strategy and drafting product specs, user stories and acceptance criteriaPositive attitude, sense of humor, and creativityNice-to-haves:Familiarity with Scrum methodology and/or other common product development processesIn-depth knowledge of PDFs, Excel spreadsheets, and other document-based data sourcesExperience working with technical projects or previous experience in a software engineering roleExposure to or familiarity with corporate finance, accounting, and/or private equityIf you don’t tick every box above, we’d still encourage you to apply.
