RESPONSIBILITIES:

Serve as the main agent for organizing and managing formal activities to enhance the academic and information technology skills of the College’s teaching faculty, academic support staff, and students.

Create and manage formal programs and activities designed to enhance the skills of faculty, support staff, and students in the use of information technology within the academic setting.

Facilitate the availability of campus-based and external training for faculty and support staff in the use of various types of instructional technology, including workshops, conferences, and continuing education courses.

Conduct the orientation of new faculty, support staff, and students on the use of the College’s instructional technology, in addition to managing ongoing training for faculty, academic support staff, and students on changes to the instructional technology infrastructure.

Provide technical assistance to the College’s academic leadership in the observation, measurement, and assessment of how instructional technology is being used by faculty, support staff, and students in various settings.

Provide technical assistance to help identify ongoing instructional technology needs.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Master’s degree in Information Technology or Computer Science from an accredited institution.

Five years of professional experience related to Information Management or Computer Science that involves classroom teaching/training as well as program management.
